My name is Kacy Beck, and I am a photographer-artist-adventurer-extraordinaire. I wear a lot of hats, but I love what I do! I live in Tacoma, Washington with the love of my life, Nick. We met on a plane and now we're married!!! We are both PNW transplants, but Washington definitely has our heart now. I love taking pictures of people and places that inspire me. I love lots of sunshine, ice cream, folk music, and airplane window seats. If you opened my purse right now you'd find a handful of boarding passes, watercolors, a journal, some dark chocolate, and my camera!

I've always loved exploring new places. My dream ever since I was a little kid was to "travel the world". And honestly? I think today's Kacy would make little Kacy proud! When I travel, I feel this ache to capture memories, feelings, emotions. That's why I love landscape and travel photography! From the Douglas fir forests of Washington to the twists and turns of a Kamakura alley, my prints serve as a keepsake and inspiration of some of the most beautiful places in the world.

My photography style leans toward true-to-color imagery. I adore documenting life vibrantly, while maintaining the integrity of the moment.

I grew up in a very creative household. My mom is also a wedding photographer (hi Mom!), and my dad is an amazing artist. I grew up painting with watercolors, journaling, crocheting, sewing, crafting, you name it, I've done it. Creativity is in my blood!
Nowadays I channel my creativity into photography. I love putting my own spin on poses, venues, editing. The right-brained side of me is always buzzing and thinking of new ideas and new shots!
